Bio/Description

Judah Guggenheim, of Silver Spring, Maryland, is a Scholars in the Nation’s Service Initiative (SINSI) Graduate Fellow and Master in Public Affairs candidate at Princeton University. He graduated from Princeton with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering for Computer Science, along with diverse interests leading to minors in Near Eastern Studies, History and the Practice of Diplomacy, Judaic Studies, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, and Robotics. His research explores the intersection of technology and international relations, focusing on the role of algorithms in identifying effective solutions to global issues.

Judah has combined interests in government and computer science through summer roles at Palantir Technologies and the U.S. Congress. He has also conducted research at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute, a culmination of the Integrated Science Curriculum, and he served as both a Fellow and educational content creator for the Bronfman Fellowship. In 2023, Judah co-founded Shalshelet Shivyoni, a nonprofit committed to inclusive values and Jewish community across college campuses. 

Before college, Judah spent a year focused on text study and moral thought at Yeshivat Ma’ale Gilboa in northern Israel. At Princeton, Judah has been heavily active in the interfaith Religious Life Council, the Undergraduate Student Government, Princeton Mock Trial, Princeton Model UN, Vote100, and the Center for Jewish Life.
