Tavon Cooke

Tavon Cooke MPA '11, a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, has considerable academic and professional background in Russian studies with an emphasis on education, social welfare and domestic and international health policy issues. Cooke spent his internship with USAID Tbilisi's Health and Social Development section, where he planned and implemented an embassy-wide conference on social capital issues in Georgia. Following his graduation from the MPA program in May 2011, he was sworn in as a Foreign Service Officer.
